Kristin Cavallari opened up about her experiences in the dating world over the past few years, sharing her journey on the latest episode of Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde podcast.
The 37-year-old actress, known for her role in The Hills, reflected on her life since her 2020 divorce from Jay Cutler, with whom she was married for seven years. “People forget that the last 5 years have been my dating era,” she explained, emphasizing that it was a time for self-discovery and figuring out what she truly wants in a relationship.
Having been in relationships since she met Jay at 23, Cavallari noted that she never had the opportunity to explore her dating preferences and personal growth. “I never was able to date and figure out exactly what I want and figure out myself through dating. And so that’s what I’ve been doing the last 5 years, and that was really fun for me,” she said.
Cavallari also reflected on how her past relationships shaped her approach to love. “It was a distraction,” she admitted, adding that in her past relationship with Estes, she didn’t have to compromise much because he naturally fit into her life. “I didn’t really have to bend for him in a lot of ways. He just kind of fit into my life.”
As she navigates her 30s, Cavallari remains focused on personal growth and understanding what she wants in her love life.
