Donald Trump Jr. Balances Relationships at Inauguration Events
Donald Trump Jr. faced the challenge of managing his past and present relationships during events surrounding his father’s inauguration. He attended the ceremonies with his new partner, Bettina Anderson, while also crossing paths with his former fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle.
Despite the potential for tension, sources told PEOPLE magazine that the interactions remained civil. Guilfoyle and Don Jr. reportedly maintained a cordial relationship throughout the weekend.
An attendee noted that Guilfoyle, rumored to be a leading contender for the role of U.S. Ambassador to Greece, appeared composed and accepting of the situation. However, she still seemed to hold feelings for Don Jr. “Kim is still very fond of Don and kept an eye on him and Bettina,” the source revealed. “She knows how striking and well-dressed Bettina is, and there’s no denying she was hurt when their relationship ended.”
Don Jr. and Guilfoyle, engaged since late 2020, ended their relationship shortly after the 2024 election. The breakup came around the same time Guilfoyle received her nomination for the ambassador position. Soon after, Don Jr. was seen with Anderson, a Palm Beach socialite and model.
Despite the end of their romance, Guilfoyle reportedly remains a steadfast supporter of the Trump family. Meanwhile, Anderson, described as confident and charismatic, is said to be adjusting well to the high-profile world of the Trump family.
Though she lacks Guilfoyle’s extensive political experience as a longtime Trump ally, Anderson is reportedly exploring ways to contribute to the family’s political ventures and is eager to establish her place in their influential circle.
