Khloe Kardashian, a fan of rapper Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, defended him after a viral awkward interview at the Grammy Awards. On February 2nd, the 40-year-old media personality shared her thoughts on Instagram, condemning how Babyface was treated during the interaction.
She wrote, “It’s so disrespectful how Babyface was treated in this interview. He has made such an immense impact on the music industry in so many ways.” Khloe expressed her frustration, adding, “It’s maddening to see a LEGEND not receive the respect and attention they deserve. He is a pioneer and deserves so much better than this.”
Khloe praised Babyface’s career, saying, “With decades of groundbreaking work as a songwriter, producer, and performer, he’s shaped the sound of multiple generations. I love you @babyface. I am a forever fan and thankful for everything you’ve blessed us with. By the way, what a class act you are.”
She concluded her message by criticizing the interviewers, Krystia Fauria and Leslie Ambriz, who interrupted Babyface to speak with Chappell Roan. “Big or small, old or new – you don’t treat people like this. There’s a way to handle this, and this was wrong in my opinion,” Kardashian said.
In a follow-up post, she added, “No one puts Baby in a corner.”
