Kelsey Grammer Optimistic About the Next Chapter of *Frasier*

Kelsey Grammer, renowned for his portrayal of the iconic psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane, is confident that the character will find a more fitting platform in the upcoming reboot of *Frasier*.

Grammer, 70, expressed his optimism about the future of Frasier Crane during an interview with *New York Post*’s Page Six column. He stated, “There’s a better home for it. I mean, obviously, they didn’t really promote or spend much time on it.”

He elaborated on the challenges faced during the show’s initial run on Paramount+, saying, “The fellow who worked at Paramount Plus when we first sold the show there left, and it sort of fell into the laps of the next administration without them having a clear vision for it. I think they gave it a good try, but they weren’t particularly passionate about the project.”

Grammer remains hopeful, adding, “We’ll end up somewhere where people are passionate about it. Listen, it’s got a huge audience, a big following, and if people know where to find it, I think they will.”

The veteran actor also shared his desire to reunite with his former *Cheers* co-star Ted Danson in the new season of *Frasier*. He expressed interest in seeing Danson reprise his role as Sam Malone, which would offer fans a nostalgic treat.

Grammer revealed, “Ted and I might actually do something together. We’ve been talking about a couple of ideas. Maybe on *Frasier*. We don’t know yet.”

However, Grammer made it clear that there are no plans to revive *Cheers*, the beloved sitcom where Frasier Crane first gained fame. He emphasized that while the character of Frasier will continue to evolve, the focus remains on finding the right platform and creative team to bring the reboot to life.
