Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has officially announced the launch of a new YZY women’s fashion line.
In a social media post, Ye declared, “YZY women’s coming next,” while cautioning competitors in the clothing industry to “be afraid, be very afraid.”
The rapper and designer also criticized Adidas, accusing the company of exploiting his platform and disregarding his creative vision. He condemned Adidas for halting production of Foam Runners and Yeezy Slides during the COVID-19 pandemic, only to later imitate his designs. Ye expressed frustration with individuals who encouraged him to return to Adidas for financial reasons, accusing them of overlooking his artistic freedom and vision.
Declaring his unwavering commitment to his craft, Ye stated, “Now my vision is coming to life,” and likened his drive to a “John Wick vendetta” against the fashion industry, emphasizing his fight for creative independence.
This announcement comes shortly after Ye shared that his daughter, North West, inspired his return to music. He revealed he has been creating beats for her upcoming album, titled BULLY.
