Kanye West has once again stirred controversy, but this time, his loyal fanbase seems to be turning against him.
The rapper recently took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express his support for Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently in jail awaiting trial for sex trafficking and racketeering charges, set for May.
However, West’s public backing of the disgraced music mogul has led to backlash, with many fans distancing themselves from the artist.
Some supporters are now reconsidering their admiration for the Yeezy founder, urging him to rethink his stance. One fan, attempting to make West understand the gravity of his words, questioned, “What if North was the victim?”—a reference to his daughter.
Another long-time supporter expressed disappointment, writing, “Being a Kanye fan isn’t even enjoyable anymore.”
A third person, who claimed to be one of West’s biggest fans, voiced frustration, saying, “Kanye, bro, what are you doing? You’re alienating everyone who once looked up to you as an inspiring creator.”
Others warned that his continued support for Combs could lead to further isolation. “You may think you can say anything and get away with it, but this is crossing the line,” a fan pointed out.
Another user criticized West’s actions, highlighting the contradiction between his personal life and his public statements: “You have daughters and sons, yet you’re advocating for the release of someone accused of harming children for decades. This is absolutely heartbreaking.”
West’s endorsement of Combs has ignited widespread outrage, prompting even his most devoted followers to question their loyalty.
