Joe Alwyn Discusses ‘The Brutalist’ on ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers

Joe Alwyn is currently promoting his latest film, The Brutalist, and recently made his debut on an American late-night talk show. During his appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday, Alwyn discussed the film, which runs for three hours and was made on a modest budget. He also took the opportunity to express his admiration for American moviegoers, humorously comparing their enthusiasm for cinema to the more reserved nature of British audiences.

Alwyn shared a funny anecdote about a recent experience in Los Angeles, where he saw Conclave, a movie set in the Vatican. He mentioned seeing around 10 people dressed as bishops and one person as the pope, who had made a special trip to Sherman Oaks for the screening, which sparked laughter from the audience.

When asked about how he felt during his first appearance on an American talk show, Alwyn responded with his usual humor, saying, “Awful. No, it’s great,” while laughing.
