Pakistan and Iran Strengthen Trade Ties with New MoU
Pakistan and Iran have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set new bilateral trade targets and eliminate barriers hindering economic cooperation. As part of this initiative, Iran has committed to reducing business visa fees to facilitate trade between the two nations.
The agreement was formalized during a high-level meeting between the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Iranβs Mashhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Under the MoU, both countries aim to boost bilateral trade to $10 billion, fostering stronger economic collaboration, investment opportunities, and business partnerships.
Trade between Pakistan and Iran has already shown positive growth, reaching $2.8 billion in the last fiscal year. This new agreement is expected to further accelerate economic ties and strengthen regional trade relations.
