HBL PSL 10 Set to Begin on April 11
The highly anticipated 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to kick off on Friday, April 11, with defending champions Islamabad United facing two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The tournament will feature six teams competing in 34 matches from April 11 to May 18. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will be the venue for 13 matches, including the two Eliminators and the final.
Additionally, an exhibition match is scheduled for April 8 in Peshawar, with the participating teams to be announced later.
Venues and Match Schedule
- Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including the first Qualifier on May 13.
- National Bank Stadium (Karachi) and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches.
- Gaddafi Stadium (Lahore) will host several key matches, including the final.
- The event will feature three double-headers, with two matches scheduled on Saturdays and one on Labour Day.
Team Fixtures
- Karachi Kings, champions of PSL 5, will begin their campaign on April 12 in Karachi against last season’s runner-up, Multan Sultans.
- Multan Sultans, the PSL 6 winners, will play their first home match on April 22 against Lahore Qalandars.
- Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host its first match of PSL 10 on April 24, where home side Lahore Qalandars, winners of PSL 7 and 8, will take on Peshawar Zalmi.
- Peshawar Zalmi, winners of PSL 2017, will play five matches in Rawalpindi.
- Quetta Gladiators, the PSL 4 champions, will also play five matches in Lahore.
