Hasan Raheem releases a mellow version of ‘Obvious’

Hasan Raheem continues to captivate hopeless romantics with his soulful voice. On Tuesday, the singer took to Instagram to unveil an unplugged rendition of his song Obvious. Quoting its lyrics, he wrote, “I keep getting trapped in a snare. There’s joy in finding a way out.”

Expressing gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support, Hasan acknowledged their love for the track. Meanwhile, his listeners flooded the comments with heart emojis and praises. One fan described the new version as “everything,” while another eagerly requested more unplugged releases.

This isn’t the first time the Joona hitmaker has treated fans to an acoustic performance. In January, he shared an unplugged version of Maand, his collaboration with Bayaan and Rovalio. “We put a lot of love into this track, and you gave it so much more. Thank you,” he wrote in appreciation.

On the professional front, Hasan dropped Radha in late December, an energetic track that quickly became a fan favorite. “Hasan Raheem never misses! The Pakistani music scene is thriving, and I’m so glad I discovered these artists,” a YouTube user raved.

Fans of the Wishes singer won’t have to wait long to see him live, as he is set to perform at Moin Khan Academy in Karachi on Sunday.

December also saw a special collaboration between Hasan and Asim Azhar, resulting in the track YOU. Accompanied by a soft, pastel-themed music video, the song blends a soothing beat with heartfelt lyrics about true love.

The visuals complement the track’s gentle essence, featuring both artists in casual attire, mirroring the song’s mellow tone. Instagram users were quick to praise the duo, with one remarking, “Both of you look super cute.” Others amusingly compared their outfits to Elphaba and Glinda from Wicked.

A recurring phrase in the comments section stood out: “Pookie-core.” One fan humorously remarked, “This was the ultimate pookie-core music video!” Hasan playfully responded, “How many pookies will you kill?” to which Asim replied, “A pookie will come from every house.”
