Glenn Maxwell, the star Australian all-rounder, was dismissed for a golden duck during the IPL 2025 clash between Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Coming in at No. 5, Maxwell attempted a reverse sweep against R Sai Kishore but missed the ball and was trapped LBW, marking his 19th duck in IPL history. This unwanted record solidified his position as the player with the most ducks in the tournament, surpassing Rohit Sharma and Dinesh Karthik, who both have 18.

Iyer played a sensational innings, remaining unbeaten on 97 off just 42 balls. His explosive knock, featuring five fours and nine sixes, justified his hefty Rs 26.75 crore price tag from the IPL 2025 auction. Punjab Kings posted a formidable 243/5, securing a commanding victory.
