A massive fire broke out late Monday night at a warehouse belonging to an online food delivery company in Karachi. Despite firefighters arriving promptly, they faced significant challenges in launching their operation due to the dense smoke inside the building.
The warehouse, stocked with various goods, including grocery items, remained inaccessible for over four hours after the blaze erupted. To improve visibility and aid firefighting efforts, officials demolished a section of the warehouse wall to allow smoke to escape.
Fire department personnel reported that the facility lacked proper ventilation and had only a single entry point, further complicating efforts to control the fire. Five firefighting vehicles were deployed to the scene, but officials remain uncertain about how long it will take to fully extinguish the flames.
