FIA detains three women for begging in Saudi Arabia.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Wing arrested three women at Sialkot International Airport for allegedly begging in Saudi Arabia while pretending to be Umrah pilgrims.

The women, from Multan, Muzaffargarh, and Rahim Yar Khan, were detained when they returned to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia. The FIA stated that the women had been begging in Saudi Arabia for several months.

In October, the FIA also arrested eight people at Karachiโ€™s Jinnah International Airport for trying to travel with fake documents to beg in Saudi Arabia. These people had no proper hotel bookings or expenses.

In a separate operation, three men were arrested for attempting to travel to Azerbaijan with fake documents.

These arrests are part of the FIAโ€™s ongoing efforts to stop human trafficking and fake travel activities.
