“Enough is Enough”: Wasim Akram Refutes Claims of Criticizing Mohsin Naqvi

Wasim Akram Denies Criticizing PCB and Mohsin Naqvi

Former Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram has strongly rejected claims that he criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and its Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Akram clarified, stating, “Fake news regarding Mr. Naqvi. Stop lying. Enough is enough, and please don’t believe these muppets.”

The controversy erupted after reports suggested Akram had questioned the selection of all-rounder Faheem Ashraf for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy squad.

The announcement of the Champions Trophy squad has stirred debate, especially with the inclusion of players like Faheem Ashraf, Khushdil Shah, and Tayyab Tahir, who replaced Aamer Jamal and Irfan Khan Niazi. These changes have sparked mixed reactions among cricket fans and experts.

As Pakistan gears up for its Champions Trophy match against New Zealand on February 19, the attention now turns to the team’s performance. The squad is determined to prove its critics wrong and make a strong push for the title in the highly anticipated tournament.
