Elton John has made many hit songs during his long career, but even he has some tracks he doesn’t like.
In an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on December 17, Elton shared his favorite songs and revealed one he dislikes. When asked to list his top five, the 77-year-old started by mentioning songs from his Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy album, like Someone Saved My Life Tonight and We All Fall in Love Sometimes. He also called Your Song special because it was his first big hit and mentioned Blessed from Made in England.
However, there was one song he didn’t mention: Crocodile Rock. He laughed and said, “Not f***ing Crocodile Rock.”
Elton also teased that new music is on the way, saying, “The juices have never dried up.” He’s currently promoting his Disney+ documentary, Elton John: Never Too Late.
