Dr. Zakir Naik, a renowned public speaker and scholar, recently completed an exhilarating bungee jump from a height of 165 feet (50 meters) in Jinja, Uganda. The jump was carried out at an adventure site along the Nile River, where Dr. Naik, under professional supervision and using safety harnesses, successfully took the plunge.
Images documenting the jump captured Dr. Naik’s preparations, the freefall moment, and his suspension over the Nile’s flowing waters. The renowned scholar shared these photos with his followers on Facebook.
Jinja, often referred to as East Africa’s “adventure capital,” is known for its wide range of outdoor activities, such as bungee jumping, white-water rafting, and other water sports.
Dr. Naik is currently touring Africa and has shared highlights of his journey on social media. He recently posted about his visit to Lukalu, Uganda, where he interacted with local wildlife, including zebras and impalas.
