DJ Mustard has partnered with HEINZ to introduce Mustard x Mustard, a limited-edition condiment revealed at the Grammys.
“This collaboration is a huge moment for me and has been a long time coming,” Mustard said. “While people know me for my music, cooking and grilling are just as important in my life.”
Mustard, who has been known for wearing a diamond-encrusted HEINZ mustard chain, solidifies his admiration for the brand with this flavor release. Fans have eagerly awaited the collaboration, and HEINZ played along with the excitement by launching a viral campaign remixing Mustard’s iconic MUSTAAAAAAAAAARRRD soundbite in a ketchup commercial.
Todd Kaplan, Kraft Heinz’s Chief Marketing Officer for North America, highlighted the partnership, saying, “Like HEINZ, Mustard goes all in with everything he creates. He’s been a fan of our brand for years, and this new sauce remix will definitely excite our combined fanbase.”
