Internet Personality Destiny at the Center of Streaming Community Controversy
Steven Kenneth Bonnell II, better known online as “Destiny,” has ignited intense controversy after allegedly threatening to expose “20 other streamers” if his name is added to a sex offender registry. The accusations stem from alleged involvement in incidents related to revenge porn.
The situation unfolded on January 22, 2025, when a clip featuring Kick streamer jstlk emerged, advocating that Destiny be listed on Florida’s sex offender registry. In response, Destiny allegedly remarked, “If I end up on the sex offender list, I’m bringing 20 other streamers down with me.”
Adding fuel to the fire, jstlk shared a screenshot on January 23, 2025, which purportedly shows a message from Destiny. In the alleged statement, Destiny expressed disbelief over accusations that he had maliciously handled explicit content, stating, “If I get targeted for this, I’ll retaliate by revealing the private sexual activities of my fellow streamers.”
The incident has drawn widespread criticism, with streamer Chaeiry urging others not to be intimidated by Destiny’s alleged warnings. “Don’t let him manipulate or scare you into thinking you’re complicit. Supporting him or staying silent doesn’t mean you’re forever tarnished,” Chaeiry stated.
In a related development, Twitch streamer Pxie has reportedly raised $27,000 to file a lawsuit against Destiny, further escalating tensions within the streaming world. The unfolding drama has left the online community divided, sparking heated debates about accountability and ethics among content creators.
