Karachi is experiencing cold weather, with the temperature dropping below 10°C for the second time this month. The city’s temperature was recorded at 9.5°C with 41% humidity and light winds of 8 km/h from the northwest. Earlier, the temperature at Jinnah Terminal was 9.1°C.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) had predicted strong winds in the city, with temperatures expected to drop by 3°C to 4°C at night, especially in southeastern Sindh. They also forecast that temperatures in the upper and central parts of the province would be 3°C to 5°C lower than usual.
Other regions in Pakistan are also feeling the cold. In Quetta, the temperature reached -4°C, while other cities in Balochistan like Kalat (-5°C), Nokundi (1°C), and Gwadar (8°C) also recorded low temperatures. In Peshawar, the temperature dropped to 1°C with 92% humidity and partially cloudy weather.
