COAS Gen Asim Munir Encourages Youth to Prioritize Responsibilities and National Development
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir has called on Pakistan’s youth to focus on their responsibilities and personal growth rather than engaging in baseless criticism, as reported by state broadcaster Radio Pakistan on Sunday.
While speaking to students at the CMH Institute of Medical Sciences in Bahawalpur, General Munir underscored the significance of academic excellence and skill-building to enable young people to contribute effectively to national progress.
He acknowledged the vital role of youth in shaping Pakistan’s future and reaffirmed the army’s commitment to initiatives that empower and support young talent.
Additionally, the army chief warned about the spread of false narratives aimed at undermining state efforts against terrorism.
During his visit, General Munir inaugurated the Innovista Cholistan project and the Integrated Combat Simulator Arena, which, according to the ISPR, will enhance medical education, technological advancements, and combat preparedness.
Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by the Bahawalpur Corps commander. Later, while addressing officers and troops, he lauded their dedication, high morale, and readiness for duty.
General Munir stressed the importance of rigorous training in maintaining professional excellence within the Pakistan Army, emphasizing that it remains a crucial factor in tackling modern warfare challenges.
