Chris Blake Griffith Pretended to Have Drake DMs After Rapper Refused to ‘Expose’ Stefon Diggs, Says DJ Akademiks

DJ Akademiks has clarified that the Drake DMs circulating online are fake. Recently, Chris Blake Griffith posted screenshots on Instagram that he claimed were direct messages exchanged with Drake. In the alleged messages, Drake appeared to discuss his legal issues with Universal Music Group, including a comparison to Nike’s long-term relationship with LeBron James.

However, DJ Akademiks quickly addressed the situation on X, stating that the DMs were fabricated, and claiming that Drake had referred to Griffith as a “Rat.” Akademiks further explained that Griffith made up the fake DMs in an attempt to go viral. The messages also referenced Griffith’s earlier accusations against Stefon Diggs, claiming Diggs drugged and tried to sexually assault him.

Griffith had made similar accusations in an Instagram post in October, where he also alleged a confrontation with Diggs’ brother, Marsean. Griffith claimed Marsean attempted to rob his home after the alleged incident. He reiterated his stance as a straight man and denied any involvement in the situation beyond the accusations he made, stating, “The truth needs no motivation.”

Akademiks TV later shared footage of the supposed altercation, suggesting that Griffith may have fabricated the Drake DMs after the rapper declined to help him expose Diggs. However, these claims have yet to be verified.
