LAHORE: Renowned businessman and social personality Malik Kamran Munir met with Pakistan Muslim League (PML) president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain at his Lahore residence on Thursday.
Also present at the meeting was the PML’s Central Information Secretary Ghulam Mustafa Malik.
During the meeting, Malik Kamran Munir officially announced his decision to join the Pakistan Muslim League.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain expressed his pleasure over the inclusion of youth and business figures in the party. He emphasized that both the government and opposition should collaborate to address the nation’s challenges.
“The country cannot afford a politics of confrontation,” Chaudhry Shujaat said, stressing the need for collective efforts to foster the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
Ghulam Mustafa Malik welcomed Malik Kamran Munir into the party, highlighting that the PML has a clear vision for the country’s political and economic stability.
Malik Kamran Munir praised Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain for his significant contributions to the nation, crediting his integrity and loyalty for inspiring his decision to join the PML.
Munir described Chaudhry Shujaat as a compassionate leader and a unifying figure in Pakistan’s politics.
