ISLAMABAD:
The Cabinet Committee on Privatization (CCoP) on Tuesday gave the green light to an accelerated plan for the privatization of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PIACL). The approved plan includes the sale of 51-100% of the airlineβs share capital along with management control.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, as stated in an official press release from the Foreign Office.
During the session, the deputy prime minister reaffirmed the government’s dedication to privatizing PIACL, aiming to maximize its potential and efficiency.
