Candace Owens Makes Explosive Claims in Legal Dispute Between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively
In the midst of the ongoing legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, political commentator Candace Owens has made serious allegations.
On February 16, 2025, Owens took to Instagram to claim that someone from Lively’s team had been leaking HR complaints to tabloids like TMZ and The Daily Mail to damage Baldoni’s reputation.
“I was made aware a couple of weeks ago that someone from Blake Lively’s camp had been shopping around alleged HR complaints,” Owens stated. She went on to claim that major news outlets had declined to publish the material, prompting Lively’s team to approach independent journalists and TikTok influencers to spread the story.
Owens also posted images of the purported HR complaints, with names and dates blacked out. She speculated that some of the redacted names might include Jenny Slate and Isabel Ferrer, adding fuel to the speculation surrounding the controversy.
These allegations surface amid Lively’s ongoing lawsuit against Baldoni, in which her legal team accuses him of being part of a smear campaign against her. Recently, major telecom companies like Verizon and AT&T were subpoenaed in relation to the case.
Adding to the media frenzy, Ryan Reynolds, Lively’s husband, made a cryptic comment during the February 16 SNL50 special. When asked how things were going, Reynolds replied, “Great… why, what have you heard?” His remark, along with Lively’s visible reaction, has only heightened public interest in the ongoing lawsuit.
If no settlement is reached, the case is set for trial in May 2026.
