Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds React to Justin Baldoni’s Footage Release with Legal Action

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ legal team have requested a gag order following the release of unedited footage from the set of It Ends With Us by Justin Baldoni and his attorney, Bryan Freedman. The Hollywood couple’s attorneys filed a letter with federal Judge Lewis J. Liman, asking that Freedman be restricted from making public statements regarding the case.

They argue that Freedman’s media comments could influence potential jurors in Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni. According to the letter, Freedman’s actions, including interviews, podcasts, and media leaks, have violated professional conduct rules and are part of an attempt to damage Lively’s credibility. One of the leaked materials includes behind-the-scenes footage of a dance scene that was mentioned in the lawsuit. Lively’s legal team claims that Freedman’s conduct undermines the legal process and goes against New York State’s rules on trial publicity.

Freedman, however, has defended his actions, asserting that Baldoni and his team have the right to counter the allegations with the truth. The situation continues to unfold, with the court yet to make a decision on the requested gag order.
