Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Attend ‘SNL50’ Amid Ongoing Legal Dispute

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Appear at ‘SNL50’ Amid Legal Battle with Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds made their first red carpet appearance together at the SNL50: The Anniversary Special in New York City, despite their ongoing legal dispute with Justin Baldoni.

The couple joined a glamorous lineup of celebrities to celebrate 50 years of Saturday Night Live.

While Reynolds had previously attended the National Board of Review Awards earlier in the month, Lively has kept a low profile following her sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni, her co-star and director from It Ends With Us. In December 2024, Lively accused Baldoni of misconduct and claimed he had orchestrated a smear campaign against her. Baldoni’s legal team has denied the accusations, calling them “categorically false.”

Court documents reportedly contain communications between Baldoni and his PR team, which allegedly show efforts to damage Lively’s reputation after tensions on set. In response, Baldoni filed defamation lawsuits against Lively and The New York Times, disputing the reporting. Additionally, he accused Reynolds of mocking him through the character of Nicepool in Deadpool & Wolverine.

The couple’s appearance at SNL50 has sparked speculation about whether they were involved in the special itself or if they simply attended as guests. The star-studded event, which airs on NBC and Peacock, also features appearances from celebrities like Adam Driver, Scarlett Johansson, Miley Cyrus, and Tom Hanks.
