Beyoncé and her daughter Blue Ivy stole the show at the NFL Christmas Day halftime performance during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game in Houston, Texas. The Grammy-winning artist dazzled the audience with songs from her country album Cowboy Carter, including a dramatic entrance on a white horse performing “16 Carriages.”
Beyoncé wore a stunning white bodysuit, crystal-embellished chaps, and a matching cowboy hat, setting the stage for a visually striking performance. After dismounting, she sang “Blackbird” with country stars like Tanner Addlell, Brittany Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, and Reyna Roberts.
The show also featured star-studded guest appearances, with Shaboozey joining Beyoncé for “Sweet Honey Buckiin’,” Post Malone for “Levii’s Jeans,” and other performances of fan favorites like “Ya Ya,” “Jolene,” and “i.”
A heartwarming moment came when Blue Ivy joined Beyoncé for a synchronized line dance during “Texas Hold ‘Em,” marking their special mother-daughter moment. This was Beyoncé’s first live performance of songs from Cowboy Carter since its March release.
Despite topping charts, including making history as the first album by a Black woman to top Billboard’s Country Albums chart, Cowboy Carter was not nominated for any 2024 CMA Awards. The performance was part of a collaboration between the NFL and Netflix, showcasing Beyoncé’s star power and special guest performances.
