“She seized the moment to stand up for our community, which often faces discrimination,” Navarro stated. “More people need to follow her lead and speak out fearlessly.”

At the awards ceremony, held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Shakira accepted the Best Latin Pop Album award for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. In her speech, she dedicated the honor to immigrants, offering words of encouragement:

“I want to dedicate this award to all my immigrant brothers and sisters in this country. You are valued, you are loved, and I will always stand with you.”

The Colombian star also recognized the resilience of hardworking women, declaring, “To all the women who tirelessly provide for their families, you are the real she-wolves.”
