Pakistan, China Reaffirm Commitment to Regional Peace and Cooperation
Pakistan and China have once again pledged to work together for regional peace, stability, and mutual respect, while standing firmly against unilateralism and hegemonic practices.
This commitment was emphasized during a telephone conversation on Sunday between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi.
Senator Dar briefed Wang Yi on the prevailing regional dynamics, strongly condemning India’s unilateral and illegal moves as well as its unfounded accusations against Pakistan.
He expressed deep gratitude for China’s unwavering support and reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to strengthening the time-tested Pakistan-China friendship and their shared vision of an All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership. Dar highlighted Islamabad’s resolve to enhance bilateral cooperation across all sectors.
Both sides agreed to maintain close dialogue and coordination at all levels to further their common goals of peace, security, and sustainable development within the region and beyond.
