Jonas Brothers reveal new details about highly anticipated memoir

Jonas Brothers Share Exciting Update About Long-Awaited Memoir

The Jonas Brothers have finally offered fans a glimpse into their highly anticipated memoir, *Blood*, nearly six years after first announcing its development. Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas unveiled the book cover during their JONASCON event on March 23, sharing new details about the project with *PEOPLE*.

While revealing the cover image, Nick explained why the memoir has taken so long to complete: *”There’s a lot of things in motion… We had that book ready to come out, and then we looked at each other and said, ‘Our story is just beginning to be told.’ There’s a lot more we want to write. So please be patient as we continue to tell this story that each and every one of you are a part of.”*

The 32-year-old actor and musician admitted that the book is *”just not ready,”* adding, *”We’ve got to live some more life, do some more stuff, but we appreciate y’all and your patience.”*

According to reports, the memoir will feature each brother’s personal perspective, chronicling their journey from the band’s formation in 2005 to their 2013 breakup and eventual reunion six years later. It promises to share intimate, behind-the-scenes experiences that fans have never heard before.

In June 2021, Joe had teased an excerpt from the book on Instagram, writing: *”The tsunami inside of me built until it broke and crashed through everything in its path… But sometimes things need to break down so they can be built up again on a stronger foundation.”* He concluded, *”As we grow through our lives, I know I’ll always have my brothers, as family, as friends, and as BLOOD.”*

Originally set for a November 2021 release by Dey Street Books, the memoir was postponed as the brothers felt their story was still evolving. Now, with new experiences under their belts, they’re taking their time to ensure the book truly reflects their journey—past, present, and future.

Fans can expect Blood to be a heartfelt, unfiltered look into the lives of one of music’s most beloved brotherhoods.
