Holly Willoughby Disturbed by Channel 5 Documentary on Kidnap Plot

Holly Willoughby has been left deeply unsettled after discovering that Channel 5 is proceeding with a documentary about the chilling kidnap and murder plot against her, despite her refusal to participate in the project. The former *This Morning* host, who has worked tirelessly to move past the traumatic ordeal, was particularly troubled by the documentary’s working title, *Stalking Holly Willoughby*.

In 2023, Holly became the target of an obsessed security guard, Gavin Plumb, who meticulously planned to abduct, assault, and kill her. The plot was uncovered while Holly was live on air during an episode of ITV’s *This Morning*, prompting immediate security measures and her swift removal from the studio.

A source close to Holly revealed her dismay over Channel 5’s decision to dramatize the harrowing incident without her consent. Speaking to *The Sun*, the source stated, “Producers are ploughing ahead in making it regardless, however Holly is not involved.” They added, “They suggested the program could evoke horrendous memories.”

Plumb’s arrest and subsequent conviction brought an end to the terrifying plot, but the emotional impact continues to affect Holly. She has been focused on rebuilding her life and moving forward, away from the spotlight of this deeply traumatic event.

The documentary’s production has sparked concerns about the ethical implications of revisiting such a personal and distressing chapter in Holly’s life without her involvement or approval.
