K-P Government Declares Emergency in Kurram

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government has declared a relief emergency in Kurram district due to the ongoing law and order issues. The decision was made during a cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, where the security situation in Kurram was discussed.

The government confirmed that relief payments for those killed and injured in Kurram have already been made. The relief emergency will continue as part of legal requirements.

In addition to this, the cabinet approved measures against money laundering and financial terrorism. They also supported the creation of a National Commission for Minority Rights to protect minority communities.

Other decisions included approving kidney and liver transplant centers, setting up youth centers in Karak, providing grants for provincial universities, and forming an Academic Search Committee. The cabinet also approved the establishment of a Girls Cadet College in Dera Ismail Khan.
