Millie Bobby Brown Shuts Down Criticism Over Her Appearance

Millie Bobby Brown, best known for her role in Netflix’s Stranger Things, has responded to ongoing criticism about her appearance and age, making it clear she is unfazed by the negativity.

The 21-year-old actress has often faced remarks suggesting she looks older than her age. However, she recently addressed the issue head-on. Taking to Instagram, she reshared a screenshot of a British Vogue article titled, “No One Cares How Old You Think Millie Bobby Brown Looks,” and simply captioned it with a “thank you,” subtly shutting down the criticism.

Discussions about Millie’s appearance intensified after she attended the Los Angeles premiere of her latest Netflix film, The Electric State, on February 24. Dressed in a dazzling metallic gown by Annie’s Ibiza, featuring a corset bodice and mermaid-style train, she debuted a bold new look that sparked a flurry of online reactions.

Social media users had mixed opinions, with some commenting on her transformation. One user questioned her styling choices, writing, “Why this makeup and blonde hair? You look so cute in your natural version! In this picture, you look 40.” Another added, “She looks 45 pretending to be 22.” Others were harsher, suggesting she should fire her stylist or claiming she appeared much older than her actual age.

Despite the remarks, Millie remains focused on her career. The Electric State, set to premiere on Netflix in March, features a star-studded cast, including Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Woody Norman, Giancarlo Esposito, and Stanley Tucci.
