Tom Brady made a memorable debut as a Super Bowl broadcaster in 2025, taking a lighthearted jab at comedian Kevin Hart during the live telecast.
The exchange followed Hart’s brutal jokes about Brady at Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady in May 2024.
As the Kansas City Chiefs battled the Philadelphia Eagles, Brady turned to Fox Sports co-commentator Kevin Burkhardt and quipped, “Kevin Hart’s here? How do the cameras find Kevin Hart?”—a playful nod to Hart’s height. Burkhardt chuckled and replied, “Well, it depends on the day, I guess.” Brady then clarified it was all in good fun, adding, “Kevin, I love you. You took so many shots at me in May. I’m coming right back at you.”
The moment quickly gained traction online, with clips of the exchange circulating on social media.
During the Netflix roast, Hart had previously joked about Brady’s personal life, including his divorce from Gisele Bündchen and her rumored relationship with jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente. Brady later admitted on The Pivot podcast that he regretted participating in the roast, as he hadn’t fully considered its impact on his children.
Hart has yet to respond to Brady’s comment, but he seemed more focused on celebrating the Eagles’ dominant Super Bowl victory. Following the game, he shared a video on Instagram, energetically cheering for Philadelphia with his trademark humor.
