Chappell Roan has certainly made an impression on her peers, with Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet showing his support for the pop star’s Grammy 2025 performance.
On February 5, 2025, Stonestreet shared his thoughts on Instagram, praising Roan’s captivating performance of her hit song Pink Pony Club. The 53-year-old actor humorously commented on the background singers, who reminded him of his iconic Modern Family character, Cameron Tucker’s clown persona, Fizbo.
“Lotta people asking. Yes, Fizbo WAS in @chappellroan’s Grammy performance of Pink Pony Club. I was in the way way way way back. Off the stage. At home. In my chair,” Stonestreet quipped in the caption of a photo of himself dressed as the clown.
Stonestreet, who is known for his playful sense of humor, complimented Roan’s performance, calling it “on point” and adding, “Fizbo approved! #Farmbo.”
Roan made waves at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday with a show-stopping performance of Pink Pony Club. The rising star also won her first Grammy award for Best New Artist after the global success of her album The Rise and Fall of the Midwest Princess last year.
