Chrisean Rock’s Ex-Boyfriend, Ronny Doe, Fatally Shot in Maryland
Karon “Ronny Doe” Cann, 24, the former boyfriend of Chrisean Rock, tragically passed away after being shot on February 3rd in Severn, Maryland.
Authorities have confirmed that the shooting was a targeted homicide. Police from Anne Arundel County responded to a call from a home in Severn, located about 25 minutes from Baltimore. Upon arrival, they found Cann lying outside the residence and immediately began providing medical assistance before transporting him to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Despite efforts to save his life, Cann succumbed to his gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead. The police are actively investigating the incident, speaking with witnesses and collecting evidence to piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Investigators have stated that the attack was not random, suggesting Cann was deliberately targeted. No suspects have been publicly named so far.
Cann’s death follows a tumultuous public relationship with Rock. In October 2024, Cann claimed on social media that he was the biological father of Rock’s child with rapper Blueface, igniting controversy. The situation escalated further in November 2024 when Cann confronted Rock at a mall, which led to a police call after the altercation became intense. At that time, Rock was with her infant son, and the paternity of the child was still a disputed matter.
