While Drake has not publicly commented on Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy success, his father, Dennis Graham, shared his thoughts on the song “Not Like Us” sweeping the awards. Lamar’s track, which took home all five of its Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year, features a diss aimed at Drake and has earned him a total of 22 Grammy wins.
After the awards ceremony, Dennis Graham was approached by reporters for his reaction to the song’s success, particularly its controversial lyrics accusing Drake of being a pedophile. However, Graham dismissed the controversy, saying, “I don’t care nothin’ about that sht. That ain’t got nothin’ to do with me,” while wishing Lamar well and adding, “All the best to him… I don’t do that bullsht.”
Though he has stayed mostly quiet on the ongoing feud between his son and Lamar, Graham previously responded to Lamar’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” In March, Graham mocked the idea of artists using beefs to increase their record sales, suggesting it was just a tactic for attention.
Lamar’s song continues to fuel tensions with harsh criticisms aimed at both Drake and Dennis Graham. In the verse, Lamar accuses Dennis of shaping Drake into a “master manipulator” and holding him responsible for Drake’s alleged issues, such as gambling and manipulative behavior. The public feud between the two artists shows no sign of fading.
