Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, made a striking return to Los Angeles on Friday, driving his chrome Mercedes-Maybach before heading to A$AP Rocky’s residence.
The 47-year-old rapper, who had previously been seen with the flashy vehicle, was spotted cruising through the city before visiting Rocky, who is currently facing an assault trial.
However, his drive caused frustration among other motorists. Witnesses reported that West’s security team blocked two lanes on Sunset Boulevard, bringing traffic to a standstill for over a minute to clear his path.
Upon arriving at A$AP Rocky’s home, Ye spent the evening offering support to his friend as he navigates felony charges related to an alleged firearm assault. His visit to LA follows a recent trip to Japan with his wife, Bianca Censori.
During his time in the city, Ye was also seen with his manager, John Monopoly, and later stopped by a West Hollywood studio, fueling speculation about potential new music projects.
