Jessica Alba has reportedly hired a divorce attorney amid her separation from her husband, Cash Warren. According to a source close to the couple, the pair, who have been married for 16 years, is preparing for divorce but remains dedicated to co-parenting their three children: Honor (16), Haven (13), and Hayes (7).
The news of their split emerged on January 9 when TMZ reported the separation. However, a source clarified that despite their breakup, Alba and Warren, both 43 and 45 years old respectively, are still “friends” and prioritizing their children’s well-being. There is no animosity between them, and Alba has previously spoken about the challenges of maintaining the “spark” in long-term relationships.
Alba and Warren first met in 2004 on the set of Fantastic Four in Vancouver, where Alba played Sue Storm, and Warren was a director’s assistant. They married in May 2008, and Alba celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary in May 2024 with a heartfelt Instagram post, reflecting on their 20 years together.
Recent public appearances without wedding rings sparked rumors of their separation. However, they were seen together earlier this month celebrating their son Hayes’ seventh birthday, showing a united front for their family. On New Year’s Eve, Alba posted an Instagram reflection on the year, focusing on “connection, growth, and transformation,” though she did not mention Warren.
Their decision to part ways seems to be amicable, with both maintaining a strong relationship for the sake of their children.
